Welcome! The Sheridan Parent Teacher Organization provides activities and enrichment for Sheridan Elementary students in the Lincoln (Nebraska) Public Schools system. This website will acquaint you with the PTO, inform you of its programming and show how you can become as involved and supportive as you wish to be. You can also find links to local resources, see photos of past events and read the minutes from previous meetings. We hope you’ll take a minute to look around the site and see what our PTO has to offer. And if you'd like to be added to our PTo emailing list, click here. |

Interested in being involved at Sheridan? The PTO can always use more of two things: Money and people-power. You can enhance your child’s years at Sheridan by giving either, or both. Whichever method suits you — hands-on or hands-in-pocket, or both — we welcome your extra involvement in our PTO projects. Either way, your involvement will be making an important difference at Sheridan. |

Friends of Sheridan If you are willing to give money to support the work of the PTO, please become a Friend of Sheridan by completing a form and returning it to school. Volunteering If you relish a hand-on type of involvement in your child's schooling, you can let us know your interests by filling out a volunteer form and returning it to school. |

Sheridan Gives Back to School in Africa
At this year's Art Fair, we will have art items available for purchase or donation in order to help a school in Africa. Former Sheridan students Jessie Maynard and Baily Holmes raised money to send with Jessie’s mom, Kathleen, for her mission trip last Fall to Kenya. We will be selling the items purchased from people in the villages/schools in Africa so we can send this money back to them. These are children who have very little – no books, medicine for when they are sick, or even shoes. They need our help!
Please look for the African School table at the Art Fair and consider helping out this cause.
