Welcome! The Sheridan Parent Teacher Organization provides activities and enrichment for Sheridan Elementary students in the Lincoln (Nebraska) Public Schools system. This website will acquaint you with the PTO, inform you of its programming and show how you can become as involved and supportive as you wish to be. You can also find links to local resources, see photos of past events and read the minutes from previous meetings. Friends of Sheridan
If you are willing to give money to support the work of the PTO, please become a Friend of Sheridan by completing a Friends of Sheridan form and returning it to school.
Volunteering
If you relish a hand-on type of involvement in your child's schooling, you can let us know your interests by filling out a Volunteer Form and returning it to school OR by filling out an Online Volunteer Survey.
Interested in being involved at Sheridan?
The PTO can always use more of two things: Money and people-power. You can enhance your child’s years at Sheridan by giving either, or both. Whichever method suits you — hands-on or hands-in-pocket, or both — we welcome your extra involvement in our PTO projects. Either way, your involvement will be making an important difference at Sheridan.
The Art Fair was a big success! Photos are now available here.
On May 7th, Sheridan was filled with artwork and artists as we celebrated our annual Art Fair. The students produced original art which was sold at the event...everything from the necklace tiles to original oil paintings and one-of-a-kind canvases that were turned into beautiful tote bags. Students also had the chance to complete a series of fun art projects. Thank you so much to our leaders Kristi Williams , Tory Kerns & Lara Shaw and to organizers Michelle Kiesel, Kris Bergmeyer & Paige Roberts. It was a wonderful evening!

Summer Reading at Sheridan
The library will be open on Wednesdays during the summer from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Just come around to the east side of the school and enter through the Media Center's outside doors. More info
